We continue our successful classical music gifts series in the European Union between October 16 and 20, 2023.
The series, limited to five concerts only, will be delivered by a duo of outstanding performers: German- Lithuanian violinist Martynas Švegžda von Bekker and Lithuanian pianist Darius Mažintas , who is also our Artistic Director for the European Union. They will present the works of Bach, Paganini, Chausson, Franck, Bruch, Švėgžda, Barkauskas, and other composers.
The beneficiaries include hundreds of inmates in Kaunas, Pravienškės (2 concerts), Marijampolė and Panevėžys (women’s ) Lithuanian prisons. With this series the number of concerts in Lithuanian prisons will total 33 events.
